Two loxP sites were inserted flanking exons 2 to 5, and a positive selection neomycin gene flanked by FRT sites was inserted in the intron between exon 1 and 2. The FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette was deleted via FLP-mediated recombination and exons 2-5 were deleted via Cre-mediated recombination. (J:279191)
