An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 5' loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 5. An F3 flanked puromycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 5. FLP and Cre-mediated recombination removed both selection cassettes and exon 5. (J:241494)
