Exons 5 and 6 were flanked by loxP sites and an frt-flanked neomycin selection cassette. The neomycin selection cassette was deleted via FLP-mediated recombination and exons 5 and 6 were deleted via Cre-mediated germline recombination of flanking loxP sites. (J:282794)
