A loxP site was inserted into intron 1, a second loxP site and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette into intron 2, a third loxP site into intron 4, and a fourth loxP site and an FRT site flanked hygromycin resistance gene cassette into intron 5. Subsequent ROSA26-Flpe-mediated recombination deleted the neo and hygro cassettes, leaving a conditional-ready allele with exons 1, 2-4 and 5 floxed. (J:295059)
