A loxP site was inserted into intron 1, a second loxP site and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette into intron 2, a third loxP site into intron 4, and a fourth loxP site and an FRT site flanked hygromycin resistance gene cassette into intron 5. Subsequent ROSA26-Flpe-mediated deletion of the neo and hygro cassettes also deleted exons 3-5 in some mice, creating this knockout allele. Very low expression levels from this allele were confirmed by qPCR. (J:295059)
