CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing is used to introduce loxP sites surrounding exon 6. An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance (neo) cassette was also included in the floxed region, donwstream of exon 6. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette. (J:324485)
