KOMP knockout-first clone HTGR06010_A_1_C02 (comprising FRT site, En2 splice acceptor, IRES, LacZ gene, poly(A) signal sequence, loxP site, neomycin resistance gene cassette, loxP site in intron 2, exon 3, and loxP site in intron 3) was used to create a conditional-ready allele through the removal of the lacZ and neo cassettes via flp-mediated recombination.
