An FRT site flanked EUCOMM knockout first cassette (splice acceptor-LacZ/betagal-polyA + PGK-NeoR)and a loxP site were inserted into intron 5 and a second loxP site into intron 6. The lacZ and neo cassettes were removed through subsequent flp-mediated recombinatiom, leaving a conditional-ready allele with exon 6 floxed. (J:293922)
