The targeting construct contains an FRT-PGK-neomycin-polyA-FRT followed by a loxP site upstream of the last exon and a second loxP site downstream of the last exon. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette. Cre-mediated recombination removed the last exon. (J:286809)
