A loxP site and FRT-flanked neomycin resistance gene were inserted upstream of exon 5 and a F3-site flanked puromycin resistance gene and a second loxP site were inserted downstream of exon 6. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassettes leaving exons 5-6 floxed. (J:269067)
