A BAC containing the mouse Grn gene was engineered about 30 kb DNA region encompassing the Grn promoter and exons 1-13, but not the neighboring Rundc3a, Slc25a39, and Itga2b genes. Line 26 has the highest expression level of the BAC transgene in the brain (10-14 fold at mRNA level). (J:147112)
