Exon 1 and 2.1 kb of sequence upstream of exon 1 (promoter region) were flanked by loxP sites (size of loxP-flanked region 3.3 kb). Recombination removed the seelection cassette. The constitutive allele was generated after cre-mediated recombination. (J:147112)
