The targeting construct includes a CAGGS enhancer/promoter sequenceand a rabbit beta-globin poly-A sequence directing expression of the ERK-KTR-mClover reporter. The reporter consists of a docking site (a fragment of human ELK1, an ERK substrate), nuclear localization (NLS) and export (NES) signals, and mClover green/yellow fluorescent protein derived from Aequorea victoria. Clover differs from GFP by the following modifications - M1_S2insV/S30R/Y39N/S65G/Q69A/F99S/N105T/Y145F/M153T/V163A/I171V/T203H. (J:101977)
