LoxP sites were inserted into non-conserved intronic regions 553bp upstream and 530bp downstream of exon 2. The 3' LoxP site was preceded by a Frt-flanked neomycin (Neo) cassette. The neomycin selection cassette was removed in the germline via FLP-mediated recombination. (J:287691)
