A loxP- and FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette was inserted into the 5' UTR of exon 1. An additional loxP site was inserted into intron 1. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and left 0.7 kb of exon 1 floxed. (J:286963)
