A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 3, which contains the ATG start codon. An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette with a 3' loxP site was inserted downstream of the coding sequence in exon 4. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette and left the coding sequence floxed. (J:286157)
