A targeting vector containing a membrane bound GFP (mGFP), a viral 2A oligopeptide (that mediates ribosomal skipping), and a lacZ reporter followed by an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette was inserted after the ATG start site of the gene. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette. (J:286193)
