Exon 9 was replaced with a floxed neomycin resistance cassette and a modified exon 9 with the nucleotide substitution of GCT to ATG that results in the amino acid substitution of methionine for valine at position 68. This mutation mimics a human polymorphism associated with psychiatric disorders. Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. (J:284662)
