This randomly integrated transgene encodes a membrane-bound (using the transmembrane domain of the mouse H2-Db) version of chicken ovalbumin in which additional T cell antigenic peptide epitopes are embedded. These additional epitopes include 2W1S (EAWGALANWAVDSA), which function as a self-antigen (2W). Expression is driven by the CAG (beta actin) promoter. (J:175217)
