A plasmid encoding a guide RNA and PAM sequence TGG was designed to introduce a P2A peptide fused to an cre/ERT2 cassette into exon 12, immediately before the stop codon, of the solute carrier family 17 (sodium-dependent inorganic phosphate cotransporter), member 8 (Slc17a8) gene. Guide RNA and the cas9 nuclease were introduced into the cytoplasm of C57BL/6N-derived fertilized eggs with well recognized pronuclei. (J:282727)
