A transgene derived from a BAC clone bMQ313M14 containing the mouse Drd2 (dopamine receptor D2) promoter modified to no longer drive expression of dopamine 2 receptors and expresses codon-optimized Flp (flpo) recombinase. No other genes are reported to be expressed from the BAC. The transgenic vector was introduced to FVB embryos. A loxP-flanked neomycin selection cassette originally located just 3' of Flp has been excised. This is founder line 3B. (J:101977)
