CRISPR/Cas9 technology generated a 53 bp deletion in exon 1 generating a frameshift which results in a nonsense mutation at codon 18 and a subsequent stop codon at position 37. Protein is not detected by immunoblotting of tissue or cell lysates derived from homozygous mice. (J:279294)
