The L1L2_Bact_P cassette was inserted downstream of exon 2. The cassette is composed of, from 5' to 3', an FRT site, a lacZ sequence, a loxP site, and neomycin sequence followed by a second FRT site and a second loxP site. A third loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 3. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neo cassette leaving exon 3 floxed. (J:285301)
