The targeting vector is designed to insert a loxP site upstream of exon 2 and a rox-flanked neomycin selection (neo) cassette downstream of exon 3, followed by a second loxP site. Dre-mediated recombination removed the rox-flanked neo cassette leaving exons 2-3 floxed. (J:278986)
