A bicistronic sequence coding for EGFP and loxP-stop-loxP-HcRed was placed downstream of human VAV1 promoter sequence and upstream of Vav1 enhancer sequence. The entire construct was flanked by two 250 bp core elements from chicken beta globulin insulator. Multiple founders were used to establish a colony, but founder lines were not analyzed separately. Characterization of this line revealed no HcRed fluorescence after Cre-mediated recombination of loxP sites. (J:278594)
