A 5x-myc tag was inserted just after the start codon in exon 1, a loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 2, and an FRT and loxP flanked neo cassette was inserted downstream of exon 2 via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:276975)
