The targeting construct containing a Frt-flanked Neo gene, a diphtheria toxin A (DTA), and a 3xFlag-tag was used for homologous recombination in ES cells to insert the flag tag after the first methionine of the Bach2 gene. Germline transmitted mice were bred with FLPe mice to remove the neo gene. (J:272661)
