Exons 4-6 were replaced with a loxP-flanked neomycin selection cassette. The deletion is expected to cause a reading frame shift and a stop codon after the 195th aa residue if exon 3 is spliced to exon 7. The mutant protein, if expressed, would contain a single zinc-finger domain but not coiled-coil domain. (J:260445)
