A deletion of the initiation ATG codon was generated by CRISPR/Cas9 mutagenesis in order to ablate the polypeptide expression while maintaining the expression of the host lncRNA. Immunoblot analysis confirmed the absence of polypeptide expression in skeletal muscle from homozygous mutant mice. (J:238474)
