This allele follows the meiotic cre-mediated recombination between the Pcdhbtm1Tyag and Pcdhbtm2Tyag alleles. The Pcdhbtm1Tyag allele has a loxP and FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette inserted upstream of the first gene, Pcdhb1, in the cluster. The Pcdhbtm2Tyag allele has a loxP and FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette inserted downstream of the last gene, Pcdhb22, in the cluster. Recombination between the two results in the complete deletion of the Pcdhb cluster plus the two neo cassettes. (J:244163)
