The targeting vector is designed to insert a loxP site upstream of exon 6, and second loxP site, followed by an FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette, downstream of exon 9. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette leaving exons 6 through 9 floxed. (J:272987)
