A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4 and a second loxP site and a frt-flanked Pgk-1 promoter driven neomycin resistance gene were inserted downstream of exon 4. Flp-mediated recombination removed the neomycin gene leaving exon 4 floxed. (J:271329)
