A targeting vector containing two loxP sites flanking exon1 of Tek2 (Tie2) and a part of its promoter region; and a FRT flanked neomycin selection cassette was used for homologous recomibination. The neomycin cassette was excised by crossing mice with FLP deleter mice. (J:250996)
