Exons 11 and 12 were flanked by loxP sites. An FRT, neomycin selection cassette, loxP, and second FRT site were inserted downstream of the floxed exons. Flp-mediated recombination removed neomycin cassette. Cre-mediated recombination deleted exons 11 and 12. (J:286130)
