A loxP site and a FRT site flanked neomycin resistance cassette were inserted into intron 2 and a second loxP site into intron 5. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent flp-mediated recombination. Exons 3-5 were deleted through subsequent cre-mediated recombination. (J:269898)
