Exons 1-7 were replaced with an frt-flanked neomycin selection cassette. The neomycin selection cassette was removed by FLP1-mediated recombination, leaving a single frt site in the final allele. Loss of mRNA and protein expression was confirmed by western blot and RNAseq experiments. (J:269554)
