Exon 10 was replaced with a floxed neomycin resistance cassette and a modified exon 10 with V390A, Y392A, V408G, and M409A mutations, which are predicted to prevent binding onto Mapk14. Cre-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette, allowing for expression of the constituitively active allele. (J:267188)
