Using IKMC targeting vector PRPGS00028_A_A10, a lacZ gene expression cassette and a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette were inserted into intron 4. A third loxP site was inserted into intron 5. The neo cassette and exon 5 were deleted through subsequent cre-mediated recombination, leaving a reporter knockout allele. (J:269106)
