Mir16-1^m1

A point mutation in the 3' DNA adjacent to pre-mir-16-1 region in NZB. A T-to-A mutation at base 61,631,880 (GRCm38) on the sense strand of chr 14 in the NZB/BlNJ strain is not present in DBA/2J, C57BL/6J, SJL/J, NZW, BALB/c, and NOD/SCID. Levels of miR-16 were decreased in NZB lymphoid tissue. (J:124364)
