Exon -1 (the last exon) was targeted for the insertion of a 66 bp sequence with an sgRNA and a template oligonucleotide using CRSIPR/Cas9 technology. The inserted sequence codes for three FLAG epitopes and was inserted just before the stop codon. This creates an allele where isoforms that incorporate this exon and translate it in this particular reading frame have a C-terminal FLAG tag. (J:268589)
