A construct containing a loxP-flanked neo and STOP cassette was inserted between the chicken actin promoter (CAG) and the murine Tpp1 cDNA was integrated into the ROSA26 locus by homologous recombination. This creates a conditional-ready allele from which the gene will only be expressed after cre-mediated recombination of the STOP cassette. (J:259577)
