Lama2^dy-Pas

This allele contains a 290 bp spontaneous insertion of the long terminal repeat of an intracisternal A-particle gene (IAP) and a 6.1 kb insertion of retrotransposon elements at nucleotide position 5113 (between exons 34 and 35). The translational reading frame is shifted from amino acid position 1706 and a stop codon appeared 12 codons later, producing a putative truncated protein devoid of domain I and II and the C-terminal G domain.
