Exon 3 was flanked by a loxP site on one side and a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette on the other. This creates a conditional-ready allele with exon 3 (containing the entire coding region) floxed. Please note, the correct exon is 3 not 2 as reported in Shehata HM, et al, PNAS 2018. (J:265930)
