Exon 3 was flanked with loxP sites and an IRES-tandem-dimer red fluorescent protein-polyA reporter construct and an FRT flanked neo cassette were inserted in the 3'UTR via homologous recombination. Flp mediated recombination removed the neo cassette. (J:265419)
