Tg(Myh6-Tnni3*P83S)270Ammu

The transgene was designed with the mouse alpha myosin heavy chain (Myh6) promoter directing expression of a modified rat troponin I, cardiac 3 cDNA sequence followed by a human growth hormone (hGH) gene containing a polyA signal. The Tnni3 sequence contains a proline to serine substitution as residue 83 (P83S). This substitution mimics a known human sequence variant (P82S) found in 3% of normal African Americans.
