THe targeting construct is designed to insert an FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette, followed by a loxP site, upstream of exon 6, and a second loxP site downstream of exon 7 of the gene. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette leaving exons 6 and 7 floxed. (J:264335)
