A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 12 and a loxP and FRT flanked neo cassette was inserted downstream of exon 13 via homologous recombination. Recombinase mediated recombination removed the neo cassette and exons 12 and 13 (1.3 kb). (J:264168)
