A loxP site was inserted into intron 9 and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette and a second loxP site into exon 13 (replacing part of the 3' UTR). The neo cassette was removed through subsequent flp-mediated recombination. This creates a conditional-ready allele with the coding region of exons 10-13 floxed. (J:263741)
