The transgene contains the following elements: the CMV promoter, coding sequence for human prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase 1, sequence for a 10 amino-acid transmembrane linker derived from human rhodopsin, prostaglandin I2 synthase coding sequence and PGH (porcine growth hormone) pA signal. The construct was microinjected into fertilized oocytes. The promoter drives ubiquitous expression of the chimeric protein. (J:260161)
