A construct containing 6 NFkappaB-responsive elements (RE) from the CMV (immediate early) promoter were placed upstream of a basal SV40 promoter. This drives ubiquitous basal expression of a modified firefly luciferase cDNA. LPS and TNFalpha induce increased expression of the reporter. (J:147112)
